Loz returns to Derry & Toms to brave the final gate (and the depredations of the beer slate) as we conclude our re-read of Michael Moorcock's 1989 Elric novel The Fortress of the Pearl.
Expect revisionism (both textual and personal), rose-tinted reflections on the dole, a beer challenge best described as cyclopean and some RPG-focused grumbling as we complete our re-evaluation of a novel we haven't read in over 30 years and fail to pronounce simple English words.

I do believe that Moorcock spoke on the lost & found Knight Chamborg of the streaky road to & from Quasi-Shart: the eternal champion takes many forms. Una is an obvious facet, as the gem is a layered pearl & in other places it is a cut bit of mineral wealth. The dimensions of this gallery r seen by Corum’s jeweled eye. The impossible Multiverse is not solely his story to tell. Indeed, as he passed off his Cornelius character 2B picked up by other authors. Including the imagination of the reader.
